Superintendent of Schools

It is an honor and a pleasure to work as an educational leader in Paulsboro. Being Acting Superintendent for the Paulsboro Public School District has a very special meaning to me. I started my career at Paulsboro High School as a Chemistry and Physics teacher. I went on to serve as an Assistant Principal, Principal, Curriculum Director, and Curriculum Supervisor over the course of 27 years before stepping into the Acting Superintendent position. I have had the opportunity to work in every building in the district. Paulsboro is not just where I have made my career, it is my home. I have lived in the community for 19 years with my wife, and we have two sons attending Paulsboro High School. Raising my family here has given me many opportunities to build relationships with the community outside of the workday.

My mission as a school leader is to provide a safe learning environment where students and staff can focus on academic success. To do this, I will work with our students, staff, administration, school board members, families, and the community as a team with transparency. We will work diligently to assess needs and develop programs to help our students continue to thrive. We are all contributors to the success of our children. Best wishes to you and your family as we work together to make Paulsboro a great place to work, learn and live.

Should anyone have concerns, questions, or positive things they wish to share with me, please reach out to me via phone (856) 423-5515 ext. 1218 or email: pneff@paulsboro.k12.nj.us
